Yesterday we had a girl’s day here at Speranza House. A huge thank you to Becci Williams Schutte with Haseya Yoga & Healing for leading a yoga class and helping our girls slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves.
Speranza House is honored to be recognized as Indiana’s Recovery Residence of the Year by Mental Health America of Indiana. This milestone reflects a year defined by growth, transition, and the expansion of our services and locations.

We had the absolute honor of celebrating 12 brave, resilient, and inspiring women who have journeyed through recovery with us at Speranza House
Our ladies attend Connect Classes focused on financial literacy, job readiness, and nutrition — giving them the tools they need to build healthy, independent futures.
On December 12, 2025, Jeanne was named MHAI's Recovery Coach of the Year for the State of Indiana, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving.

We’re so grateful for the incredible community resources and partners we have around us. Speranza is honored to have been part of this event and to learn about the many ways our community supports one another. We’re walking away encouraged, equipped, and committed to continuing to serve our ladies with purpose.

Our community showed up in a big way at Speranza’s Bingo Night!
A huge thank you to our generous Bingo Night sponsors who helped make this evening such a success.

Thanks to support from the DMHA grant, Speranza House has been able to significantly expand service capacity. Morgan Stanley has transitioned into a full-time role, and Liz Owens has recently increased her availability to three service days per week. These changes allow our team to provide more consistent support, expand programming, and better meet the needs of the women we serve.

We are so grateful for the women we serve, our dedicated staff, and the supporters who make moments like this possible. Our Speranza Christmas Party was filled with joy, laughter, and so much love.

We are deeply grateful to the Decatur County United Fund for supporting our administrative assistant and Licensed Clinical Social Worker positions, which are essential to our daily operations and quality of care. We also thank the Decatur County Community Foundation for helping launch our Peer Recovery Coach Program and funding vital capital improvements. Together, your generosity has made a lasting impact on Speranza’s mission and the lives we serve.
