About Us
We provide residential and non-residential care for women on their road to recovery.
Speranza House is a women's faith-based sober living home whose mission is to provide a nurturing, sober, home-like environment to women who are struggling with addiction.
Our Story
Speranza House was founded in 2018 with a mission to support women on their path to recovery. We began in a humble rented space on Washington Street in Greensburg, driven by a vision of hope and healing. Through the generosity of our supporters, we soon raised funds to purchase our first permanent home, Speranza Central.

In 2023, we felt God leading us to expand our reach and mission, enabling us to serve even more women on their recovery journey. Responding to this call, we successfully raised funds to acquire and renovate a second location, Speranza Broadway. With these two welcoming spaces, we are now able to support over 30 women simultaneously in our 9-12 month in-house, faith-based recovery program.

At Speranza House, we are committed to providing a nurturing and structured environment where women can reclaim their lives and achieve lasting recovery. Our growth reflects our unwavering dedication to this mission and the faith that guides us every step of the way.
Speranza Central
This home has a special place in our hearts as the first house we owned. For a few years, it held all of our programs. The home on Central Avenue in Greensburg, which we call Speranza Central, now houses ladies in Phases 4 and 5 of our program.
Speranza Broadway
Our home on Broadway Street in Greensburg, which we call Speranza Broadway, opened in 2024 when we felt God leading us to expand our organization to serve more ladies in recovery. Speranza Broadway was a labor of love for many community volunteers, and it now houses ladies during Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the program, as well as our onsite evidence-based educational classes.
